You don't have to like cinema that much to remember Quentin Tarantino, who became an icon of international cinema. Remembered for writing scripts and mainly directing films, Tarantino became one of the best-known filmmakers in pop culture. Films such as “Pulp Fiction” (1994), “Kill Bill” (2003 and 2004), and the invaluable “Inglourious Basterds” (2009), remained and remain in the minds of moviegoers around the world.
To the sadness of many, Tarantino announced his latest work is closer than ever. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the filmmaker already has his script ready and the title would be “The Movie Critic”. Tarantino had already announced that when he reached the mark of ten films, his career would be complete.

The Rolling Stone Brasil page also announced that the recordings will take place between September and October, in the autumn of the United States of America, even without having a studio or record label yet. Sony will probably be one of the favorites for this feat, given that the producer spearheaded the ninth film, “Once Upon a Time… Hollywood” (2019).
The final work still contains many secrets surrounding its creation and production. However, there are reports that the film portrays the 1970s, in Los Angeles, and probably with a woman as the main actress.
Also according to Rolling Stone Brasil, the plot will be based on someone who already existed, and therefore, it would follow the tradition of narrating stories that actually existed, as occurred in “Once Upon a Time… Hollywood”, only this time, with Pauline Kael, who is one of the most important people in film criticism.

The actress was not as recognized while she was alive, only known as a film critic. She was also a novelist and essayist, despite fights with other co-workers. She passed away in September 2001.
It is noteworthy that, in 1970, the decade the film probably portrays, Pauline was a consultant for Paramount, something that could be important for Quentin's new work. Even announcing his latest film, Tarantino did not disregard the fact that he will continue on TV and books.
