Below, see how to perform this configuration on your account in just a few steps.
In PC browser
Time required: 2 minutes
- Access Google Chat
First, on the left side of the platform, choose an individual or group conversation. Hover over the name of the person or space and click on the three dots. In the opened window, complete the action with “Pin”.
- Undo the tag
If you want to unpin the conversation, click on the same three points and, in the opened window, click on “Unpin”.

- On the Google Chat home screen, tap a conversation until a tab appears below;
- Then tap “Pin”;
- To undo this action, keep your finger on the conversation again until the tab appears below;
- Finally, tap “Release”.
