Creating an individual and personalized profile in Google Chrome offers several advantages, especially when the browser is shared between several people on the same computer. With this feature, you separate your settings, preferences and browsing history from other users. Next, learn how to manage this resource in a few steps.
How to create profiles in Google Chrome
Important: in the Google Chrome app for Android and iOS, you can only have one profile.
Time required: 3 minutes
- Open the browser
At the top of Google Chrome, click on the profile icon, next to the three dots.
- Choose an access mode
Then, in the drop-down window, click on “Sign in to Google Chrome – to enter your Google account – or on “Add new profile”. This tutorial opted for the second option.
- Proceed to creation
Afterwards, in the new window, click on “Continue without an account”.
- Customize your profile
Next, define the profile name and its theme color.
- Finish editing
After all, click “Finish”.
