Grasshopper’s best-selling game – Zombie killing game starring a cheerleader, “Lollipop Chainsaw” became Grasshopper Manufacture’s best-selling game.

According to studio president Goichi “Suda 51”, the game has sold more than 700,000 units worldwide since its launch in June of that year.

The announcement was made during the Lollipop Chainsaw Summer Appreciation Festival, a party dedicated exclusively to the game that was held last Saturday (25th) in Japan.

After “Lollipop” , Grasshopper and Kadokawa are united again to produce “Killer is Dead” , a game that is considered the spiritual successor of “Killer 7”.

The plot shows a swordsman with a cybernetic arm known as the “Executioner” and, according to the description of the Japanese magazine Famitsu, the hero’s mission is to eliminate a series of very dangerous criminals.
