Gustavo Silvestre shines with Ponte Firme Project

Yesterday (14) was the first day of São Paulo Fashion Week and, ending the first day of fashion shows (which featured an opening by Herchcovitch; Alexandre), Gustavo Silvestre in partnership with Projeto Ponto Firme shone at the Ipiranga Museum, which was transformed on catwalk. Brightness is the highlight in the parade

The partnership between Gustavo Silvestre and Projeto Ponto Firme produced a dazzling and glittering fashion show. Whether in clothing items (along with cuts and styles), makeup, or hair, shine was one of the protagonists of the closing show on the first day of São Paulo Fashion Week.

The parade featured colorful and bright pieces, using sequins cut by hand and made from sustainable material. With impeccable crochet and embroidery work, Gustavo Silvestre and the Ponto Firme Project show, once again, what we can consider Brazilian haute couture. The pieces presented were made based on various research. In addition to the sparkles of the sequins, Gustavo and Projeto Ponto Firme also used crystals in some pieces.

About the Ponto Firme Project

The Ponto Firme Project emerged in 2015, through crochet classes for prisoners sentenced at the Adriano Marrey prison, in Guarulhos. Gustavo Silvestre and the Ponto Firme Project's first time at São Paulo Fashion Week took place in 2018. Since then, participation has not stopped and Gustavo is growing more and more, as is the Ponto Firme Project. In 2021, Escola Ponto Firme appears, with crochet courses for anyone in a vulnerable situation who wants to participate.

In addition to the projects and participation in SPFW, in 2022, Gustavo and Projeto Ponto Firme collaborated with designer Kevin Germanier, participating in Paris Fashion Week. This partnership continues to this day. In addition to the great and important social initiative, the Ponto Firme Project also values ​​sustainability, using sustainable and long-lasting materials, showing that fashion is sustainable and also a way to encourage various social initiatives.
