Halsey and many other big names!

The month of November in São Paulo will be busy with the second edition of the GPWeek Festival, which will feature big names in international music such as Halsey, Machine Gun Kelly and Swedish House Mafia. Furthermore, singer JXDN is also confirmed for the event, which takes place at Allianz Parque on November 4th.

The event takes place right before the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Brazil, scheduled for November 5th. The first edition of the festival sold out all tickets and expectations for this year are even greater, with a program of international and national artists that promises to please the public.

The artists confirmed for the event so far are: Machine Gun Kelly, Swedish House Mafia, Halsey and JXDN. Ticket sales start on May 9th, at 10am, on the Eventim website and, at noon, at the official box office.

MEET THE ARTISTS

Halsey

Halsey is an American singer, songwriter and activist who began her career in 2014 by posting her music on the Soundcloud website. His stage name is inspired by a subway station in New York. Her first album, “Badlands”, released in 2015, was a huge commercial and critical success, peaking at number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Since then, Halsey has released three more studio albums, including “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom” (2017) and “Manic” (2020).

Machine Gun Kelly

Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, is an American rapper, singer and actor born in Houston, Texas on April 22, 1990. He became known for his rap and hip-hop songs and more recently, has been experimenting with different musical styles, including rock and pop punk. Kelly released her first album in 2012 called “Lace Up”, which was followed by four more studio albums and some collaborative projects with other artists.

Swedish House Mafia

Swedish House Mafia is an electronic music trio formed by DJs and producers Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, originally from Sweden. They came together in 2008 and released their first single, “One”, in 2010, which became a worldwide hit. Swedish House Mafia's sound is characterized by a mix of house, progressive house and electro house.

JXDN

JXDN is an American singer and songwriter, born in 2020. He gained popularity on the TikTok platform, where his music videos went viral. Their musical style is a mix of alternative rock and pop punk, with lyrics that talk about themes such as love, relationships and personal issues.

Tickets for the festival vary between R$195 and R$1,990, with half-price options for all sectors. Sales begin on May 9th, at 10am, online, and at noon at the physical ticket office at the stadium.

GP Week is a music event that takes place annually in the capital of São Paulo and this will be its second edition. Last year, names like Twenty One Pilots, The Killers, Fresno, The Band Camino and Hot Chip entertained the audience, which quickly sold out.
