Harry Styles' hit “As It Was” becomes the best-selling hit in the US in 2022

Harry Styles' third solo album, “Harry's House” continues to stand out, this time being the best-selling single in the USA to date. According to the Billboard HOT 100 – which measures the most popular songs in the United States every week, based on sales, online streams and radio broadcasts – the singer's song “As it Was” has reached four million copies sold in North American territory. Furthermore, the hit leads the country's main music chart for the thirteenth week, totaling 23 weeks in the ranking. According to data from the Billboard website, the song recorded 68.4 million radio audience impressions (down 2%), 15.8 million streams (up 3%) and 3,000 downloads sold (down 13%) on period from September 2nd to 8th. According to the website, it joined a select group of just 13 songs to lead for at least 13 weeks and broke the record for most weeks in the top two positions of the Hot 100 – which belonged to The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber with the single hit “Stay” – appearing in 22 of the 23 weeks.

Dominating the top 3

“As It Was” is not the only hit on the album, “Late Night Talking” also entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart, reaching third place, making the singer record two songs in the top 3. The song when debut reached fourth place on the Hot 100, now in addition to becoming the most played on American pop radio and gained a live video, instrumental version and exclusive single for fans in CD, cassette, vinyl or download format, which boosted its rise to the top 3.

Harry Styles will perform in Brazil with his “Love on Tour” tour from December to December in the cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba.
