Harry Styles releases video for “Daylight” directed by James Corden

Harry Styles is currently promoting the Harry's Housethe singer's third studio album. The album is already one of the biggest hits of 2022 and has the most listened to single in the world at the moment, the song As It Was. In partnership with presenter James Corden (The Late Late Show), he released a fun video for the song Daylight.

In the video, Harry Styles wears a colorful outfit with a yellow hat and goes through different scenarios between night and day. The repetitions and scenes speak to the lyrics that talk about living in a cycle of waiting:

“Outside New York
I'm at the speed of my composition
We are on bikes
Seeing that there is life out there
You have the antidote
I'll take one to go
Please take the photo
Cut my middle
You don't have time for me now.”

During the program, they showed the details of the video recording. The scenes were recorded with a budget of 300 dollars and a time of three hours. Without a script or anything previously planned, they went out into the streets and convinced people to help with the clip, providing their homes as a recording location. In the process, some residents collaborated on the idea and the clip was directed by James Corden.

As expected, the result amused everyone who participated and was made entirely with improvised resources within the homes of residents who accepted the challenge. James Corden and Harry Styles have already filmed several episodes of the Talk Show together and this was another one that entertained those who watched.
