Honorary Grammy for Nirvana: Historic Tribute

The Recording Academy announced this Thursday (05) that the band Nirvana will be honored with an honorary Grammy at the 2023 edition. The Special Merit Awards ceremony, which had not taken place since 2020, returns this year with Nirvana, The Supremes, Ma Rainey and Slick Rick among the honorees.

The special ceremony usually takes place a few days before the main Grammy awards, which this year will take place on February 5th and will feature Anitta, Beyoncé, Harry Styles and Lizzo, among the nominees for the award.
