How to change the keyboard on your Android phone

- Access settings
With the phone already unlocked, drag the screen from top to bottom to expose the entire notification screen; then click the button with the gear icon. When the settings menu opens, click on the “System” option;
- Enter the correct section
Then, select the “Languages and input” and “On-screen keyboard” options. The next page will show the keyboard types;
- Choose keyboard
Three options will be available: search for the name “Gboard” and click on it;
- Customize your cell phone keyboard
To customize the keyboard, select the “Themes” option. The next page will show a series of design options: using the “+” icon you can upload a photo from your gallery and leave it as the keyboard background, the color options allow you to choose a specific tone to be on the screen background, and other themes (such as landscapes) can be downloaded to the cell phone and enabled;
- Change text settings
For those who want to change the functions of the text, you can click on “Text correction”. In the following options menu, you can choose and modify a series of commands that should help with your typing.
