To avoid dryness, hydration – of the whole body, by drinking water, and of the skin itself, by applying moisturizing products – is essential. But this is not always a pleasant task on cold days. According to experts, one alternative is to opt for moisturizing products that are suitable for use in the shower.

Priscila suggests using hyaluronic acid, known for its ability to retain water, and vegetable butters and oils, such as tukumã butter and fevillea oil. “They help to strengthen the skin barrier,” she explains. Glycerin, ceramide and niacinamide also help to protect the skin, according to Vivian.
