Spotify began releasing the 2024 Retrospective this Wednesday (04), with the most listened to songs, artists and podcasts of the year. One of the main novelties of this season is the inclusion of 2024 Musical Journeywhich reflects his musical styles heard throughout the year on the music streaming platform.

As we have become accustomed to, this edition returned with a tab called Retrospective, which brings together all the thematic content and other tools of the application:

Your retrospective: stories with the songs and artists you listened to most this year;
Your most listened to songs: personalized playlist with your most listened to songs;
Your 2024 Musical Journey: playlist with your favorite musical styles;
Shorts by artists: videos of the artists you most admired;
2024 in music: playlist with the most listened to artists, songs and albums of the year in Brazil and around the world;
2024 in podcasts: retrospective of the main podcasts and episodes of the year;
Top Artists of 2024 Global: the most played artists of the year in the world;
Top Tracks of 2024 Global: the most played songs of the year in the world.

How to do your Spotify 2024 Retrospective

Via the mobile app

Time required: 2 minutes

Open your Spotify app and tap the “Retrospective” tab at the top. Then, select “Your 2024 Retrospective”.
You can click on “Retrospective” at the top of the screen or on the home screen banner.
In the next window, it will open your retrospective with your account's playback information.
To go back one frame, click on the left side of the screen. To skip to the next story, tap on the right of the screen.

Via Spotify Web or Desktop

Unfortunately, the music retrospective is only available on mobile devices. It is not available for the Desktop version, nor for the web version or on the Spotify Wrapped website. When accessing the website, it asks you to log in through the application so you can access your retrospective.
