The PlayStation 5 Pro arrived in Brazilian stores at the beginning of November, with the promise of offering more performance, hardware improvements and better graphics performance, targeting players looking for the best possible experience in last generation games.

Manufacturer Sony reported that the PS5 Pro has a GPU that is 67% more powerful than the base model, in addition to RAM that is 28% faster. The console also has a 3.5 GHz AMD Zen 2 processor and 2 TB SSD, representing just over double the PS5's standard storage, with 825 GB of space.

Despite all the benefits presented, the launch of the new version of the already well-known Sony console caused controversy, mainly due to its suggested price of R$6,999.90.

Still, many players who already owned the PS5 secured their Pro model in the first few days, having to transfer data from the old device to the new one. Check below the step-by-step guide on how to make the transfer.

How to transfer data from PS5 to PS5 Pro

If you already have a PlayStation and want to start using the PS5 Pro, transferring your data, account and user settings to the new console, follow the step by step below. The procedure applies to transferring data from PS5 or PS4.

Important: Both consoles need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network, and if you use a LAN cable, the process is even faster.

After completing this process, it is advisable that you see how account sharing is going on on both consoles. On PS5 Pro, if you log into your PSN, it will not be able to be activated on the Pro. When you log into the new game for the first time, this will be activated automatically.

Therefore, it is good to keep an eye on how you will use both devices, as it is only possible to go online on one of them. Additionally, your games are only accessible on the account where offline game sharing is turned on.

Another important point is that the DualSense and other PlayStation devices need to be synchronized with the new console. To do this, connect them via USB to the PS5 Pro and repeat the entire process for the first time. Then, pair the video game with the PS App, to keep track of everything and control it in an easy and practical way.

To sync your DualSense controller, DualSense Edge, Pulse Elite Headset, Pulse Explore, and PlayStation Portal with your PS5 Pro

Whether it's a new DualSense controller or one you already have, you need to pair it with the new console. Use the supplied USB-C cable to connect them to the console and turn on the controller.

Playstation Portal: From the PS5 console home screen, select Settings > System > Remote Play, then turn on Enable Remote Play. Sign in to your PlayStation Network account in PlayStation Portal and follow the on-screen instructions to sync it to your new console.

PlayStation Pulse Elite Headset: Connect the supplied USB adapter to one of the rear USB Type-A ports on the console and press the PlayStation Link button on the headset.

PlayStation Pulse Explore: Make sure the headphones are docked in the charging case, insert the USB adapter into one of the USB Type-A ports on the console, remove the headphones from the case to connect them to the console.
