How to use Image Wand on iOS 18

Recently, iOS 18 was released for Apple users, bringing several new features. One of them is the new Image Wand, a tool that promises to help users convert Notes app sketches into realistic images.

The tool relies on Apple Intelligence technology, the company's artificial intelligence that provides several functions. As it integrates with iCloud, it allows users to access their projects on any Apple device.

In the update to iOS 18, Apple Intelligence brought several tools and resources in addition to Image Wand, such as Genmoji, for creating personalized emojis, Writing Tools, which helps you write different types of text, and new functions for Crab.

Use Image Wand without a sketch

If you prefer, you can use the tool even without making a sketch to begin with. To do this, simply:

1- Select the Image Wand tool and circle an empty area in your note;

2- Write a description of the image you want to generate;

Choose the sketch that best suits your preference and tap “Done” to insert it into your note.

It is also possible to edit the images added with the Image Wand feature. With this, you can further edit the previously generated image, obtaining a new one. Here's how:

1- Tap the image you added with Image Wand in your Notes app and tap the “Apple Intelligence” icon in the toolbar;

2 – Add more details to the description or remove details from the description to change the image;

3 – Choose a new generated image and tap “Done” to add it to your note.
