Hugo Boss summer 2023 collection – The brand Hugo Boss launched its new spring/summer 2023 collection, in a show entitled “see now, buy now”, which was held on the coast of Miami on Wednesday (15). The presentation gathered around 500 guests and ended with a party at the Herald Plaza. This collection was inspired by the city of Miami.

Senior Vice President of Creative Direction at Hugo Boss said in a statement that “Boss is returning to its traditional tailoring roots, but interpreting them in a new way. The proposal explores the tension between opposites: dry and liquid states, land and sea, opaque and transparent.

This powerful juxtaposition is the basis for new prints, tones and textures, and opens the door to a world that welcomes creative visual dialogue. We look back on tailoring, so we boldly move into the future, embodying the spirit of a true chef.”

The new spring-summer 2023 collection features transparent fabrics, as well as slightly wrinkled materials that were made from a blend of smooth silk and nylon, which are pressed and given a colorful coating.

Suits, shirts and overcoats, fabrics and patterns including stripes and pinstripes have been reinvented in new colours. The classic black, white and light beige tones were replaced by powdery tones, imitating the Art Deco architecture of Miami.

The show’s scenography was themed around ‘transparency’, where the show’s venue was surrounded by walls of water and the models appeared to walk over it.
