“I didn’t take it off overnight”
Influencer, ex-BBB and also actress, Rafa Kalimann will play her first role on open TV as a villain in Globo's next 7pm soap opera, “A Vovó Sumiu”, which will replace “Fuzuê”. She spoke about controversies regarding work.
Acting career
The news that Rafa Kalimann, 30, will be the new villain in “A Vovó Sumiu” was given by Notícias da TV and, at the beginning of October, confirmed by the artist's team to Hugo Gloss.
In the plot that will replace “Fuzuê”, Rafa will be the “stone in the shoe” of Juliana Paiva’s character, one of the protagonists. The soap opera is in the pre-production phase with casting and is scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2024.

In 2022, the influencer would participate in the soap opera “Vai na Fé”, but was blocked by the president of the Rio de Janeiro Artists Union, Hugo Gross, for not having the professional work registration for actors known as DRT.
As soon as his performance was announced, Rafa made a point of stating that he had taken the DRT: “It's really important that people expect to see this (the record). And understand that things take time. I didn't take the DRT overnight”said the actress, according to Quem Magazine.
Rafa also says that he dedicated himself, studying hard to get the record, and that he will do his best in his debut on screen.
Focused on work
This is not the first time that Rafa has ventured into interpretation. The former BBB member participated in the Globoplay series “Rensga Hits” and, together with Deborah Secco, Fabiana Karla and other names, is recording the second season of the story about the country universe.
“It's a super welcoming, familiar environment, so I could adapt to this whole scenario. Understand what a set is like, how it works with my co-workers, learn from them”, explains the actress.

Rafa says that the series gave him the best opportunity, opening the doors to acting “in the best way possible”. Antônio Palhares' ex ends by saying that she is completely focused on work and that she is not thinking about dating.
