“I got my ass kicked”

This Sunday (21), Murilo Huff gave an interview to Léo Dias' column and revealed details about his recent breakup with dermatologist Nicole Melo. The singer participated in the festival that took place at 'Na Praia', in Brasília, this weekend and was one of the main attractions. “I’m single! We were getting to know each other, she’s an amazing person, but it didn’t work out and that’s okay.” he said.

In a joking tone, the reporter asked who had made the decision to end the relationship and Murilo said that the doctor was the one who put an end to the romance.. “I was the one who got my ass kicked,” he commented. The artist stated that the two have very different routines, since he travels a lot. And he acknowledged that it is not easy to live with this fact: “It was more for that reason, a matter of routine”.

The musician spoke about his busy routine and admitted that he can never be idle. He revealed that he only stays home once or twice a week, when he has the time. But his priority will always be his 2-year-old son Léo, the result of his relationship with singer Marília Mendonça.

The celebrity also spoke about where the song he released in partnership with the duo Maiara and Maraisa, entitled 'Perfeito Pra Ficar Sozinho', came from. Murilo explained that the song is not his own composition, but that he felt a huge connection with it the moment he heard it. The lyrics were kept for two years and when the singer decided to record his DVD, he invited the sisters to participate in the album.

According to the country singer, the lyrics of this song called for a strong interpretation and the female duo's ease was perfect. Murilo said that his intention with the song is not to make the man who was dumped suffer, but to show the power that women have in their hands. He said that he is seeing a lot of good music on the market and that with the end of the pandemic, the country music market has come back with everything and all this demand requires a lot of dedication.
