'I never want to do a soap opera again', reveals Carolina Ferraz

This Sunday (3), Carolina Ferraz, 54 years old, participated in the PodCringethe program's podcast “Spectacular Sunday”from the Record TV. The actress who ended her contract with TV Globo in 2017 and has been away from soap operas ever since, she revealed that she no longer wants to act in soap operas. The presenter admitted that she misses the film sets and her castmates and said that she is considering her participation in films, series and web series.

“Since I joined the program, I've never felt this longing to go on set, to meet my peers, because I'm trained as an actress, to meet my colleagues, I love this television environment, but, like, I'm not going to stop acting, I just don't want to do soap operas anymore, that's what I've always said, I really don't want to, I think I could do a film, a miniseries, a web series, but I never want to do a soap opera again in my life, I really confess that, and I think it's very unlikely that I'll do a soap opera”said the actress.

Known for her participation in plays such as “Pantanal”, “The Star” and “Brazil Avenue”, Carolina is in charge of “Spectacular Sunday” for over a year and said she was happy in her role as presenter, being able to express herself in the first person and no longer having to put herself behind a character to communicate.

“I really want to present, to be a communicator. I like to be there in the first person, talking to people, I think I do it well and I think I have the ability to talk to people, people like to talk to me too. This is a huge pleasure, something that makes me very happy. So I said, 'man, I'm going here, this is what I want now', so I'm happy too”, finished the former model.
