Ice Spice takes home the award for Best New Artist at the 2023 VMAs!

One of the biggest awards ceremonies in the music world is taking place today (12). The Video Music Awards, better known as VMA, is being held for the first time on a Tuesday, directly from New Jersey, in the United States. The 2023 ceremony is being hosted by rapper Nicki Minaj and broadcast on MTV and Pluto TV since 9 pm Brasília time.

“Best New Artist”

Rapper Ice Spice was the winner of the night in the “Best New Artist” category. She began her career in 2021, began to gain recognition at the end of last year with the single “Munch (Feelin' U)”, and gained even more prominence when she participated in the soundtrack of “Barbie” in the collaboration “Barbie World” with Nicki Minaj, now receiving her first VMA having her talent recognized by one of the most important awards in the industry.
