In a new clip, Flay reveals phase after suffering sexual abuse in childhood

Flay, the great champion of The Masked Singer Brasil, releases the music video for the single “Fria”. The audiovisual production of the track, which is part of his first album “IMPERFEITA”, arrived this Tuesday, on Youtube.

The clip portrays a chaotic phase of her adolescence, after having faced sexual abuse, a trauma reported in her single ‘I was just a girl’. “After everything I’d been through, something had broken in me and I didn’t know what. I became empty and dry. This clip shows exactly the chaos I was in during adolescence in the face of my post-trauma”, she says.

In the scenes, which were recorded in different locations, the artist brings references to many of her favorite artists, series and movies. According to the singer, to build the rebellious personality of this “Cold Girl”, she was inspired by the actress and singer Madonna, in the movie “Who’s That Girl”.

“Audiences will love this COLD girl’s personality, she is a complete mess, makes fun of guys, doesn’t fall in love, does to them everything they once did to her and then some. It’s a very different clip from what I’ve already recorded, it’s nice to watch”, says the artist.

In addition to “Fria”, the album “Imperfeita” has 11 more tracks. Exploring the artist’s vocal power and marking her transition to the pop and R&B genres, the project was structured to pass on the message of strength and empowerment, through the singer’s personal stories and experiences, but without leaving aside the aspects of vulnerability.

Continuing the important phase of his career, Flay is getting ready to launch his new tour at the “Antes de Meia Noite” party, on July 2nd at the Audio venue in São Paulo.
