Johnny Depp: These millions of euros that Amber Heard is about to pay him … but that he will not be able to touch!
ING has decided to stop doing new business with Russian companies. The company announced this on Wednesday. The decision is a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
ING will not charge any commission for sending money to Ukraine. The bank also remains open to its customers in the country.
ING has also made a donation of 3 million euros to UNICEF for the victims of the violence. There are also various local initiatives that the company supports.
“We are deeply saddened and concerned about the violence we are now seeing in Ukraine,” chief executive Steven van Rijswijk said in a statement. “We condemn the invasion of Ukraine, the devastating and heartbreaking impact it has on the population and the threat it poses to security and stability.”
INGHEAD QUARTER
The Dutch bank has been present in Ukraine for some thirty years, offering services to both companies and private individuals.
ING says it is in close contact with its employees and is doing everything it can to ensure that they are safe.
“We are also staying in touch with colleagues in Russia, who also face challenges.”
