Internacional thrashes Juventude away from home and gets closer to G6

After the last few unfavorable results, Internacional won again in the Brazilian Championship. In a match at the Alfredo Jaconi Stadium, Colorado beat Juventude 3-1 with goals from Borré, Gabriel Carvalho and Bernabei. The home team scored with Oyama in the final minutes. The result puts Inter in 10th place, with 32 points, and Juventude in 14th, with 28 points.

First half dominated by Internacional

The game started off lively and, in the first few minutes, Thiago Maia received a yellow card for sliding into Jadson. The two teams continued to play to open the scoring. In the 21st minute, Juventude almost scored with Erick, but Rochet prevented the ball from going in on that play and on the corner kick that followed.

In the 29th minute, Borré opened the scoring for Internacional, after a cross from Tabata. Four minutes later, in the 33rd minute, it was Gabriel Carvalho's turn to score his first goal after ten matches for the club. With the team out of sync on the field, Juventude suffered a setback after Rodrigo Sam was sent off for a foul on Rômulo.

Juventude reacts and scores at the end of the match

With one less player in the second half, Jair Ventura had to reorganize his players to try to react against the opponent. However, Internacional was willing to increase the score and Borré tried again to leave his mark, but goalkeeper Gabriel saved. In the seventh minute, Wesley also tried, but the ball hit the post.

In the 13th minute, it was Bernabei's turn to receive a good pass and put Colorado in a comfortable position against their opponent. Roger Machado made more changes to the team, just to maintain the quality of his team on the field. Shortly before the end of the match, Luís Oyama took advantage of a lost ball by the opponent and scored for the home team. The final score was 3-1 and Internacional was closer to the G6, while Juventude was in the neutral zone, needing to be careful not to get close to the Z4.
