“Jack in the Box” | J-Hope's first solo album has tracklist released

J-Hope announced this Thursday (07) on his Instagram the tracks for his solo album “Jack in the Box. THE teaser official has also been released and the premiere is scheduled for July 15th, Friday.

The singer-songwriter is a member of boy band South Korean BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) and was the first to invest in a solo project after the group's announced hiatus. Member Jungkook only collaborated once with Charlie Puth in “Left and Right”. The album has 10 tracks, including lead-single “MORE”released on the first of July.

The song “Arson” was also identified as a strong candidate to become single.

In a live, J-Hope stated that his groupmates are happy with his work and he is receiving support from everyone. Big Hit Music made statements about how the young man is willing to break standards and grow as a professional. Rumors about the solo project began after the singer was announced on headline of Lollapalooza USA which will take place between the 28th and 31st of July.

Hope is the sixth member of the group BTS to perform a solo on Billboard Hot Trending Songs, a partnership of billboard with the Twitter, which tracks music trends and conversations in real time on the platform and lists the 20 singles with more interactions on the social network. Furthermore, “MORE” was the best debut of the week on Spotify.

J-Hope was already known in the dance world with the group NEURON and had already won awards with streetdance. Between 2009 and 2010 he participated in two competitions for JYP Entertainment, but chose to start as trainee from the Big Hit Music in early 2010 and debuted with BTS in 2013, becoming the third member to join the group. Despite an unglamorous start to his career, as he declared in 2014, he now works as a singer, songwriter, dancer and music producer.
