Married since 1997 to Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith revealed a few years ago that she had never wanted to unite with the actor. She had revealed that she had done it out of obligation and had cried all over the alley that led her to the altar.
If Will Smith shows to the eyes of the whole world – at the risk of even being banned from the Oscars ceremony for 10 years – his support for his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, the same cannot be said of the actress who confided during her show Red Table Talk that she had never wished to marry her husband.

The actress of the film Matrix confided in December 2019 that she did not want “really not to marry” with Will Smith but also that she had “cried in the aisle” before marrying the star of the Prince of Bel-Air on New Year’s Eve 1997.
“I had so much pressure, you know, being a young actress, being young, and I was just, like, pregnant and I didn’t know what to do,” Jada Pinkett Smith said.

The 50-year-old actress remembered her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris, also known as Gammy, who she said forced her to marry Will Smith after she became pregnant with their first son, Jaden, now 23.
“I really didn’t want to get married,” she repeated as she sat in front of her mother, her husband and their daughter Willow (21).
