Jão records DVD of the “Pirata” tour in São Paulo

Last Sunday (14), Jão held another sold-out concert at Espaço Unimed, previously called Espaço das Américas, in São Paulo. However, in addition to promoting sold out, this being the fourth of the tour's five shows at the venue, which has a capacity for eight thousand people, the country boy recorded the official DVD of the Pirate Tour.

Yesterday afternoon, the artist announced through his social networks that the show would be recorded, in a humorous way, without saying much: “Today the show will be recorded. They will smell great.”, he said in a tweet.

At the show, with his ship in the background, like a good pirate, Jão made it rain during the track “Olhos Vermelhos”, performed two costume changes and covered “Boate Azul”, by Bruno and Marrone, in honor of his father , in addition to filling the night with hits not only from the album “Pirata”, but also from “Lobos” (2018) and “Anti-Herói” (2019).

The young artist from Américo Brasiliense, in the interior of São Paulo, returns to the capital of São Paulo on August 20th to hold his fifth and final date (so far) in the city. The concert, like the previous ones, is sold out.

The “Pirata” tour marks the musician’s return to the stage, after two years away from the public due to the pandemic. With a total of 36 solo shows, 30 of which were sold out, and 19 festivals, João Vitor not only toured Brazil, but also performed in Portugal, in the cities of Porto, Lisbon and in the old parish of Zambujeira do Mar.

In 2022, proving that he came to make a mark in the Brazilian music industry, Jão performed at Lollapalooza São Paulo and is part of the line-up for the great return of Rock In Rio, which will take place between the 2nd and 11th of September, in Cidade do Rock .

The DVD of the “Pirata” tour does not yet have further details or a release date announced so far.
