Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck won’t let the media influence their relationship this time. According to Lopez, she and her boyfriend, with whom she also had a relationship from 2002 to 2004, are now “older and wiser”. At the time, the two broke up because of the many media attention.

When the singer and actor started dating again last spring, they were afraid of a new media circus in advance. But they’ve learned not to share too much about their relationship, Lopez says. “We are now older and wiser and have more experience.

We are in a different phase of life and now both have children, so we are much more aware of that,” she explains to the American magazine People.

According to her, it also feels different almost two decades later to have a relationship with Affleck. “We appreciate it more and celebrate love more and that’s nice,” says the 52-year-old Lopez. “If you find someone you love very much and you get a second chance, that’s very special and beautiful. About what her future with Affleck will look like, the singer does not want to make predictions. “I think everyone just wants to be happy and grow old with someone. I think that’s a great idea for now.”

Lopez and Affleck have been together since April last year. Shortly before that, Lopez’s relationship with Alex Rodriguez, with whom she was engaged, broke down.

With her ex-husband Marc Anthony she has twins. Affleck had three children with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
