This Friday (31), Jennifer Lopez surprised her fans by announcing that she will no longer perform on her tour entitled “This Is Me… Live” which was scheduled to take place in the summer in the United States. Jennifer said that she needs to “spend more time with family and friends”.
“This Is Me… Live” Tour Canceled
“Live Nation”, the production company responsible for Jennifer Lopez's tour, was the one who made the announcement to the press this Friday (31), informing the cancellation of the singer's tour: “She is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends,” said the company responsible. In addition to “Live Nation” making the announcement about canceling the tour, singer and actress Jennifer Lopez also decided to talk about the decision to cancel her shows that were already scheduled. “I am completely saddened and devastated to disappoint you. Please know that I wouldn't do this if I didn't think it was necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time,” said Jennifer Lopez.

“This Is Me… Live” was scheduled to take place between June 26 and August 31 in the United States. Initially, the tour was to present her new album “This is me… now” which was released on February 16 of this year, but Jennifer Lopez decided to change the title to “This Is Me… Live | The greatest hits”, where the singer intended to present her new songs, in addition to the tour being composed of the greatest hits of her entire career.
Poor ticket sales and breakup rumors
The American press believes that the cancellation of the tour is due to low ticket sales, because there were reports that there were many tickets for the shows that had not been sold and were still available for sale on the websites responsible for selling them. However, sources close to the singer denied that low ticket sales were the real reason why the American singer canceled the tour.

The announcement came after rumors of a possible separation of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's marriage, which began when the actor did not accompany Jennifer to the “Met Gala” event, which took place in early May this year.
Beginning of the relationship
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have a long history. They started dating in July 2002 and got engaged four months later. However, the day before the ceremony, which was supposed to take place in September 2003, the couple postponed the wedding due to media interference at the event. In January 2004, the couple decided to separate for good.

The couple decided to separate in 2015. Jennifer Lopez was married between 2004 and 2014 to singer and songwriter Marc Anthony, with whom she had a pair of twins, Emme and Maximilian, 16 years old.
