This Sunday (5), the 65th Grammy Awards ceremony will take place. Considered the biggest musical award today, the event annually celebrates the songs that marked these 365 days. After much speculation about who would host the ceremony, the Grammys themselves revealed the official list of presenters.

The first lady, Jill Biden, was one of the guests, along with names such as: Cardi B, presenter James Corden, comedian Billy Crystal, Dwayne Johnson and Viola Davis. In addition to them, some winners from other editions of the award will also grace this year, such as the three-time winner, Olivia Rodrigo, and the five-time winner, Shania Twain.

Recently, the Grammys delighted fans by revealing some of the performances that will take place at the event. Stars like Bad Bunny, Steve Lacy, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Lizzo, Kim Petras and Sam Smith will take the stage next Sunday. However, there are rumors that more performances may be announced soon, such as Taylor Swift, Adele, Beyoncé and Anitta, who has just received her first nomination in the “Breakthrough Artist” category.

Speaking of Anitta, the Brazilian is the figure most likely to win the “revelation award”. Living the best phase of her career and with her foot firmly on the international stage, this victory could seal the success of the Rio native, who started 2023 with hits being played all over the world. “Anitta is leading the odds now, mainly due to the success she has had in 2022, scoring a huge global success with her single “Envolver”. The Grammy Awards 2023 promises to bring together the most talked about figures of the moment, and choose the best recordings, compositions and active artists between October 1, 2021 and September 30, 2022. The ceremony will take place at the Crypto.com Arena, in California, starting at 9pm and ends at 00:30am (Brasília time).
