Jo Ends Tour with Unforgettable Show for 50 Thousand People

Singer-songwriter Jão ended his iconic “Pirata” tour this Sunday (11th)! Towards the end of this special cycle, the singer founded a mega structure in Novo Anhangabaús in São Paulo in a free performance for more than 50 thousand people.

According to the artist, the last performance would be a form of thanks from him to his fans for the more than 50 thousand tickets sold, in the capital of São Paulo alone.

“We did 6 shows here, more than 50 thousand tickets were sold. I want this event to be a gift for my fans and also for the city that welcomed my work with such affection. Singing in the heart of São Paulo, for so many people, will be really beautiful”declared João.

The event, which contained several surprises, did not disappoint and presented a repertoire full of songs from the singer's career. There was “Louquinho”, an old fan favorite hit, the huge hit “Idiota” and a new song that may be officially released soon.

Just hours before going on stage, the singer opened a question box on Instagram to find out which song fans would most like to hear, and he didn't disappoint by singing what was most likely the most requested. “Louquinho”, a separate single that ended up being left out of the album “Anti-Herói” (2019), was performed, driving the audience crazy.

The show was also broadcast live on TikTok Brasil, with an audience of 700 thousand people. Some fans believe the artist may extract a recording of the show, such as a live album or DVD.

Still to the surprise of fans, Jão also confirmed that his next tour is scheduled for next year, with his debut at the Allianz Parque stadium, in São Paulo!
