João Guilherme speaks out after rumors about a breakup with his family

This Tuesday morning (9), the columnist for the newspaper Metropole, Fábia Oliveira, stated that João Guilherme had broken relations with some of his family members. According to the journalist, he was not speaking to Virgínia, his sister-in-law, Zé Felipe, his brother, and Leonardo, his father. However, the actor appeared on social media to comment on what happened.

“What exactly do they break up? Lol, he's not my father anymore? Neither is my Zé brother?”, he replied in the columnist's publication, and joked, “”according to pipipipopopo sources'. You invented it, leave my family alone”.

Breakup of relationships

The Metrópoles newspaper states that, according to sources, at family gatherings such as those at the end of the year on the farm, Zé Felipe mocks his brother all the time, and one of the reasons for João's separation would be Leonardo's machismo towards his son. Another information brought by the newspaper is that the niece Maria Alice is not even close to her uncle and that she speaks all the names, except that of the actor, since she does not recognize him as a family member.

Unstable family relationship

It is worth remembering that, last year, João Guilherme's relationship with his father, Leonardo, was strained after the singer declared support for the then candidate Jair Bolsonaro in the last presidential elections. The discussion even ended up on the internet, with João's stepmother criticizing Leonardo's son's lack of gratitude towards his father. Therefore, João and Leonardo are back in public contact, as shown in photos posted on their social networks.

Last year, the singer even spoke about his relationship with his son, jokingly saying that the actor wanted his father to dress like him. Other records at parties also show João Guilherme's relationship with his other family members, such as at the parties at the end of last year.
