Joelma hits the top of iTunes with new single

About to record the third stage of the audiovisual “This Is Calypso Tour Brazil”, Joelma surprised her fans. Without prior warning, the singer released the single “Missing Us Both” on Tuesday (24).

This is the blonde's second release in October, since on Friday (06), Joelma made available the beat melody “That Someone”. In “Missing Us Both”, The largest in the north bet on the carabao sound system and tecnomelody, popular rhythms in states such as Pará and Amazonas.

Top of iTunes

Within a day of its surprise release, the song reached number one on iTunes Brazil. On the platform's charts, Joelma surpassed artists such as Anitta and Ana Castela. Check out the Top 5 on iTunes Brazil below:

DVD “This Is Calypso Tour Brazil”

After releasing the track “Missing Us Both”Joelma announced the first special participation of the third stage of the audiovisual “This Is Calypso Tour Brazil” . This is the group Carabao – The Furious of Marajó. The singer's new project is inspired by the DVD “Calypso for Brazil” from the now defunct Banda Calypso, and consists of recording some DVDs that, together, will become a single album.

Until now, “This Is Calypso Tour Brazil” had records in Recife and São Paulo. The recording of the third stage will take place at the Mangueirão Stadium, in Belém (PA), on November 24th. Banda Magníficos, Victor Santos and Pocah were the special guests in the first and second stages of the audiovisual, respectively. In addition to these three parts, the project will also feature a shelved block of “This is Calypso in the Amazon”recorded in the Amazon.
