johnny depp vs amber heard – A court in the US state of Virginia has the request of actress Amber Heard to the ruling in the lingering case between her and her ex-husband actor Johnny Depp to be annulled Wednesday. Variety reports that the judge does not go along with Heard’s arguments to reject the ruling.

According to Heard’s lawyers, there was fraud because one of the jurors did not have the correct date of birth on his call card. According to the judge, this problem should have been raised earlier. Moreover, the court does not consider it proven that there was intentional fraud.

Heard asked the judge if he would name the case between her and Depp as a mistrial. In that case, a line is drawn through the case. In this case, that should happen because of the alleged fraud.

This is separate from the appeal that the actress has previously announced. This has yet to be set in motion and it is therefore not yet certain whether the court will approve the appeal. Should it go ahead, a new judgment will be made in the case.

Depp had sued Heard over an op-ed she had written about her experiences with domestic violence. She did not mention a name in the article in The Washington Post, but according to the actor it was obvious that it was about him.

He stated that his career and reputation have suffered and demanded compensation. The jury agreed with him and awarded him more than 10 million dollars.
