After controversies involving her ex-husband, Lucas Souza, Jojo Todynho used Instagram stories, this Tuesday (21), to thank her fans for their support and announce that she will step away from social media. The singer from Rio also spoke about situations that led to the end of her relationship with her ex-husband Lucas Souza, such as drug use and betrayal on the part of Lucas Souza “I stayed quiet for a long time, but there are times when I can't”.

In a tone of venting and gratitude, Jojo made a sequence of stories thanking the messages of affection he has been receiving and apologized for the words used in some statements.

The singer also thanked her family and friends for their support.”I thank my family and friends, who followed closely and didn't let me lie here. Because there's something I'm not, it's a liar, I don't need to lie or invent anything” said Jojo Todynho.

Withdrawal from social media

Jojo Todynho opened up about how he feels about the stories involving his name, “I'm going to take a break from social media, because there are times when it's too much. There is no living being that can withstand it. The devil is very dirty, even more so when he knows that you are on purpose” said the singer, and adds “So many things they always say about me, and I always keep quiet and feel like I'm wrong. But there are times when it gets annoying, I'm a human being and I have feelings like everyone else.”

The singer commented on the haters who have been receiving the controversies in the media “What people think of me won't change my life at all. You can be as hateful as you want, as I already said that here you don't cancel. The only one who can cancel me is God, whenever he wants. Other than that, they're going to have to put up with me”, shot Jojo.

Jojo Todynho and Lucas' relationship lasted 10 months. After this period, the couple announced the definitive end of their union, in October 2022. After the end, the singer went to a unit of the Women's Assistance Police Station (DEAM) to file a police report against her ex-husband, for verbal aggression. Even after 1 year apart, their relationship is still a recurring topic on the internet.
