Currently incarcerated following the investigation into the disappearance of his wife, Cédric Jubillar is the number 1 suspect for justice as well as for the family of the nurse. The new statements of a lawyer for the family reinforce doubts about his guilt, while no physical evidence has been found.

Questioned by the press after his clients – uncle, aunt, cousin and cousins of Delphine Jubillar – were heard by the courts, Mr. Battikh made a show of force in front of the media:

According to the testimony of her husband Cédric, his wife disappeared after going out to walk her dogs in the middle of the night.

A version that is contradicted by several of his relatives, starting with his lover who was cleared of any accusation because he had an alibi that night, he was with his wife.

For him, it is impossible that she went out to walk the dogs in the middle of the night, as the painter-plasterer has been evoking since the beginning of the case.

The couple’s former neighbors also validate this position because they had never seen him take care of the dogs before.

In addition, she had a phobic fear of the dark: “She was even afraid to go alone at night to the infirmary of the clinique,” according to the husband of one of her colleagues.

Leaving alone, without money, in the middle of the night to walk animals that she never took care of and without giving any news to her children, so many situations that seem unlikely in the eyes of many relatives of the one who lived in Cagnac-les-Mines.

Especially since a neighbor would have heard screams that evening in their house and that the son of the couple, Louis, evoked an argument between his parents during his last hearing.

For Me Battikh, this accumulation of details creates “a feeling that is reinforced on the guilt of Cédric Jubillar“. He would have acted out of jealousy, not accepting to see his wife escape him.

There is also still a lot of investigation to be done. “The magistrates will go all the way and continue with innovative techniques to search for Delphine’s body.

There is the use of drones that fly over Cagnac-les-Mines to map 4 to 5 hectares per day to identify upturned land. The case is progressing but the exploitation of all the data takes time, “added the lawyer.

Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the facts of which he is accused until the final judgment of this case.
