Julia Fox hits back at allegations of interest in relationship with Kanye West

Actress Julia Fox, 31, has been the target of harsh criticism since her romance with rapper Ye – formerly known as Kanye West – 44 became public. Julia said she was ignoring recent accusations that she was with the American for money and attention.

In a recent appearance on the Forbidden Fruits podcast, the actress commented on the press coverage surrounding her relationship with the rapper, which is the first to become public since the breakup of her marriage to businesswoman and socialite Kim Kardashian, with whom she has 4 children.

Julia, who is known for her participation in the film 'Uncut Gems' (2019), gave her opinion on the exposure she received. “It's funny because I'm getting all this attention, but I don't really care. People are like, 'You're just in it for the fame and the money. ' Honey, I've dated billionaires my entire adult life, let's be honest.'

Fox and West have been dating since New Year's Eve and confirmed their romance in early January, in a text written by the actress for 'Interview' magazine. “I met Ye in Miami on New Year's and it was an instant connection. His energy is so fun to be around. He had me and my friends laughing, dancing and smiling all night long.”said Julia.

After the New Year's Eve party, the two decided to fly to New York to see a play and have dinner at the actress's favorite restaurant. Ye even ended the date by taking her to a hotel room that was full of clothes, so she could do a photo shoot. The two have been seen on several dates since that day, including a get-together with friends that included singer Madonna.

“Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes. It was every girl's dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment.”says the actress. “I don't know how he did it or how he got it all there in time. But I was so surprised.”.

Julia Fox gained attention in Hollywood after starring alongside actor Adam Sandler in the film Uncut Gems, which earned her a nomination for Best New Artist at the 2019 Gotham Awards. She recently starred in the period drama 'Not One False Step' (2021), directed by filmmaker Steven Soderbergh.
