Justin Bieber hoped that marriage to Hailey would solve all his problems,
When Justin Bieber married Hailey Baldwin in 2018, he thought it would be the solution to all his problems. The 28-year-old singer soon found out that he had to look for the solution mainly in himself, he says in conversation with Apple Music.
“I remember having an emotional breakdown because my marriage wasn’t the solution I was looking for,” Bieber says. “I had to look for it in myself, instead of my wife.
I expected her to make everything better, but it doesn’t work that way.”
The singer continues: “It was very necessary to take a good look at myself in the mirror and to be honest.
That I wasn’t the person I thought I was, which was the result of unresolved traumas and life circumstances.”
Eventually, Bieber sought salvation in his religion. “I’ve been very open about my faith and how it has helped me, and still helps me. My relationship with Jesus has taught me to stop being so hard on myself.
The idea that I have been forgiven and that He accompanies me daily on my journey makes me feel better every day.”
