Katy Perry announces release date for “143” during Rock In Rio

Singer Katy Perry announced on her social networks that her new album called “143” will be released on September 20th. This new work by Katy Perry is her first since “Smile” in 2020 and should also mark the artist's meeting with producer Dr. Luke. The meeting with the director has caused an uproar among fans, as he has received accusations of sexual abuse.

“Woman's World” will premiere this Thursday, July 11th at 8pm, along with the music video produced. The album will be released on September 20th, the same day as Katy Perry's performance at Rock In Rio Brasil. The singer released the cover of the new production and informed that pre-orders are being made available on her own official website.

“My goal with 143 was to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album“, detailed Katy Perry.

This will be Katy Perry's fourth at Rock In Rio

Katy Perry will make her third appearance at Rock in Rio, the first time taking place in 2011, opening the show to the sound of “I Kissed A Girl”; the second was in 2015, the American singer already had several hits such as “Hot N Cold”, “Roar” and “Firework” was the most requested by the public, as said by the event organizer. In 2018, she was on stage as the main attraction of Palco Mundo, being present in Porto Alegre, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

Pre-sale offers CD, Vinyl and K7

For pre-sale, the album “143” is available in K7 Tape, CD and Vinyl Record versions. In the case of the LP versions, two covers and two different disc colors can be found, one of them using purple media, with an image of Katy, but without a signature; and in the silver version, Perry comes in a signed cover. In addition, blouses and caps related to the new work can also be found on Katy's official website.
