Kimberley Klaver was initially not at all waiting for a relationship with her boyfriend Michel van den Bergh, says the actress Saturday in De Telegraaf attachment WOMAN. She went to therapy and went on a journey alone to get him out of her head.
“I didn’t want that: I went on a journey on my own, followed therapies to get him out of my head,” says Klaver.
She never expected that she would fall in love with a man with three small children. Moreover, she was still in a divorce herself and wanted to be alone for a while.
“But we were always thrown on each other’s path,” says the 36-year-old actress. “I tried to escape Michel by not getting to the places where we always met. But even when I cycled through a completely different part of Amsterdam, I suddenly saw him there. And several times, huh.”
After a while she surrendered to her infatuation. “Both our fathers have died and we always jokingly say: ‘They cooked that together’. In the end, I thought: then we’ll go for it.”

Klaver, who was seen in SpangaS on Survival and Vechtershart, had her second child together with Van den Bergh in March. In May 2021, they announced their engagement. They have been together since 2018.
