Klara Castanho cries when speaking for the first time about the abuse she suffered

The actress Klara Castanho spoke for the first time on a TV program about the abuse he suffered last year. She participated in “High hours” last Saturday (4) and opened the program presented by Serginho Groisman citing the subject. “I know it’s a latent issue. “I never imagined that I would have to talk and deal with this outside of the group of people who were involuntarily included, my family. I received a great welcome, people were very kind. I have a wonderful support network” – said Klara.

The actress highlighted the importance of having psychological support and stated that her case “showed that the internet is no longer a no man's land” after identifying several attacks: “I was forced to go public with the hardest thing in my life”he highlighted.

The actress spoke about living in the age of social media, she said that it is terrible and that people think they can do anything, she highlighted the lack of compassion that is increasingly explicit. Castanho said that her story was told in the wrong way, but thankfully she had a voice. For her, many people read a headline and didn't want to understand what was happening.

Serginho Groisman said that Klara chose the High hours for believing in the program’s acceptance. “She spoke about how she was forced to expose her private life and made a very mature reflection on social media. That 22-year-old girl became a woman with firm and confident speech”said the presenter to the journalist Patricia Kogut.

The actress made public the pregnancy she had, the result of a rape and that she gave the child up for adoption, the forced revelation was made through an open letter published on Instagram, in June 2022. The case was exposed by the journalist Leo Diasby the presenter Antonia Fontenelle and by youtuber Adriana Kappaz, she filed a criminal complaint against them for defamation, slander and insult. O São Paulo Regional Nursing Council (COREN-SP) also initiated an investigation against a nurse who threatened to release the information to the press, but the case was closed in January this year.
