Kurzawa is offered to Corinthians

In recent days, another player has been offered to Corinthians. It is the French full-back, Layvin Kurzawa, who is currently without a club, since leaving the PSG team at the end of last season. The São Paulo club has already signed a total of 20 reinforcements throughout the 2024 season.

The signing of the player by Joaquim Grava's team is being analyzed, mainly due to the club's search for a name to be the team's starting left-back, which currently only has Hugo and Matheus Bidu, who have gone through several ups and downs throughout the year, not being unanimous in the position.

The fact that Kurzawa has only played in eight matches in the last three years, either due to injuries or decisions made by the PSG coach himself, is seen as a negative sign that the negotiations will not move forward. The player's last match was in October 2021, almost a year ago, when he played for just eight minutes, against Strasbourg, in the French championship.

However, the fact that the athlete is not playing regularly, and with the transfer window already closed, the cost of signing the player ends up being lower than the other athletes that were in Corinthians' sights. The club would work with a contract until the end of the year, with the possibility of renewal after goals are achieved.

The player took advantage of the situation and his name being involved in negotiations with the club to cause a stir among Corinthians fans. First, he used Memphis Depay's song, entitled “2 Corinthians 5:17”, a biblical reference, and then he published lyrics from the song by MC Hariel, a fan of the team, which mentions the club in the song.

Kurzawa began his career at Monaco in 2010, coming through the French team's youth system. In 2015, he was transferred to PSG, where he played for nine seasons and eventually made it to the French national team. He had a spell on loan at Fulham in England, where he played for just six games, before returning to PSG until the end of his contract.
