Lady Gaga releases soundtrack of new Top Gun movie,
Lady Gaga recorded the soundtrack of the movie Top Gun: Maverick. The song, which is called Hold My Hand, will appear on May 3, the singer announces via Instagram.
Lady Gaga says she worked on the song for years to perfect it. She thanks, among others, actor Tom Cruise and composer Hans Zimmer for the opportunity to write and record the song for the film. “It was a great experience to work with them.”

The singer, who made the song with producers Bloodpop and Ben Rice, writes to her fans that she has had to wait a long time until she can share the song.
“It’s a love letter to the world during and after a difficult time,” she writes.
Hold My Hand is Lady Gaga’s first solo material since her album Chromatica, which was released in 2020 and features the hit Rain On Me with Ariana Grande.
Top Gun: Maverick is a film directed by Joseph Kosinski and is the sequel to the 1986 classic. Cruise once again takes on the role of pilot Maverick.
The film can be seen in cinemas from 26 May.
