Latin Grammy 2024 will take place in the United States

The Latin Grammy edition will return to American lands for its 25th ceremony, according to the announcement made by the Latin Recording Academy, this Wednesday (17), after having its last ceremony held in Spain.

The Latin Grammy had its last edition, in 2023, taking place in Seville, Spain, due to the infrastructure that the city had to offer the most important ceremony in Latin American music.

At the time, the company's CEO, Manuel Abud, classified the occasion as a future opportunity to explore other cities for the ceremony.

However, this Latin exploration did not happen and the 25th award ceremony for the best Latin artists will take place in Miami, in the United States.

The Latin Recording Academy, of which Manuel Abud is CEO, announced this Wednesday (17) that the ceremony's next destination will be in common territory, America, on November 14, at the Kaseya Center arena.

“Since our first awards ceremony in 2000, the Latin GRAMMYs have provided an unparalleled international spotlight on Latin music and featured iconic performances that have become part of global music and pop culture history. We are excited to celebrate our 25th anniversary in Miami”, commented Abud, about the new decision.

Organization

The 2024 Latin Grammy ceremony will last around 3 hours, with production made in partnership between Mexico, through Televisa, and the United States, with Univision. The live broadcast will be carried out by Galavision and VIX.

However, there is still no information regarding coverage in Brazil. Last year (2023), Globo Play received the rights to show the Latin Grammys.

However, despite this, the event calendar has also been defined:

• July 24, 2024 to August 5, 2024: First round of voting
• September 17, 2024: Announcement of nominees
• September 27, 2024 to October 10, 2024: Final round of voting
• November 14, 2024: 25th Latin Grammy Awards ceremony
