Lauren Jauregui reveals details about her long-awaited solo album in an exclusive interview!

Lauren Jaureguiex Fifth Harmonysaid this Thursday in an interview with Galore magazine that he is working on the first studio album of his solo career.

Lauren said that, by working on her album, she has been able to connect not only with herself, but also with life. Allowing herself to live in the midst of all experiences, she said: “(…) I'll definitely be taking these songs on the road too“.

It is worth noting that at the present time Lauren only has two EPS in her catalog: “PRELUDE“, which marked his solo career debut in November 2021, and “In Between”, which was released in May of this year.

According to Lauren, one EP is a continuation of the other. Therefore, during his visit to Brazil in São Paulo at Audio, Jauregui's playlist featured songs from both, such as: “All In My Feelings” ““Trust Issues” and ““Wolves” (collaboration with rappers Ty Dolla Sign and Russ).

Fifth Harmony, formed by Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello, Normani, Ally Brooke and Dinah Janebegan in 2012. Throughout their career, the five girls collected awards such as the MTV Video Music Award, Teen Choice Award and also MTV Europe Music Award.

Even though they are no longer active as a quintet, July 27th marks the group's 11th anniversary, the same date they were launched by the program “The X-Factor”, in 2012, in the United States.

While together, they caused great euphoria among harmonizers with hits like ''Miss Movin On'', ''Sledgehammer'' and ''Work from Home''.

Passing through Brazil and… ''Fourth Harmony''

In 2016, Camila Cabello was the first member to leave the group, with the intention of focusing on her solo career. Thus, the girl band continued with the four, Dinah, Lauren, Normani and Ally.

In August 2017, the four released their third album, the first without Camila Cabello, titled with the same name as the group: “Fifht Harmony”. With that, to promote the album, Lauren, Dinah, Ally and Normani came to Brazil in October, with shows in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

In 2018, Fifth Harmony announced a hiatus (which ended up being permanent) for the group members to focus on their solo careers. In an official statement, they said: “(…) After six years of hard work, non-stop, we also realized that in order to remain authentic to ourselves and to you, we needed to take some time off, a break from Fifth Harmony, to pursue our solo careers.”

Furthermore, they highlighted that the break would be important so that they could learn, grow creatively, and also find their own path.

Comforting the hearts of harmonizersthey were objective and said that this way they would not only allow themselves to live new experiences, but also to build strengths and different perspectives. With affection and gratitude to their fans, they stated that their love and support would serve as an impetus for them to be able to build themselves, thus making them proud.
