Easy feijoada is a practical and extremely tasty recipe, bringing that classic flavor of Brazilian cuisine that conquers everyone. INGREDIENTS
Feijoada
- 200 grams of desalted dried meat
- 1 piece of bay leaf
- 2 pieces of chopped onion
- 200 grams of pork ribs
- 6 cloves of minced garlic
- 200 grams of bacon
- 500 grams of black beans
- 200 grams of calabresa sausage
- 200 grams of paio
braised cabbage
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt to taste
- 1 bunch of sliced kale
vinaigrette
- 1 teacup of apple cider vinegar
- 1 piece of chopped onion
- salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 1/4 teacup of olive oil
- 2 pieces of chopped tomatoes

METHOD OF PREPARATION
- First, let’s put the beans in a bowl, cover with water and let it soak for at least 1 hour.
- Then, sauté the pork ribs, with the chopped bacon, the pepperoni sausage, the chopped dried meat, the sliced paio in a large pan and leave it separate.
- So let’s sauté the garlic, bay leaf and chopped onion in the same pan.
- Right after that, let’s go back to the meat, add the drained beans and cover with water.
- Finally, keep cooking for 3 hours, until the beans are soft and the broth has thickened, add more water if necessary and adjust the seasoning.
- For the vinaigrette, place all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
- For the kale, place in a hot pan with olive oil and sauté well, add salt to taste and set aside.
- Serve the feijoada with the side dishes and enjoy.
