Liam Payne's new album had its release postponed days before the tragedy

This Wednesday (16), singer Liam Payne, 31, was found dead at the CasaSur hotel, located in Argentina. According to what sources told the newspaper The SunLiam would have postponed the release of his last solo album because he was “lost” after the end of his contract with Roger Nores, who was his manager.

According to sources, things would not be going well for the former member of the band One Direction after the end of his partnership with the businessman in early 2024. “Roger has been a safe haven for Liam, and it seems he (Liam) is having a hard time without his guidance. Things started to feel a little erratic”, stated the source, reporting that the singer made plans and canceled them at the last minute.

In addition to issues with the manager, another reason for postponing the release of the album would have been that the single “Teardrops”, released in March of this year, would not have been as successful as expected, leaving it outside the Top 30 Charts in the United Kingdom.

Liam died after falling from the third floor of the hotel he was staying at. According to local employees, the singer had displayed violent behavior hours before the fall, and during a call to emergency, it was reported that he had allegedly used drugs and destroyed the room in which the artist was staying.

Liam died immediately after falling and left a son, Bear Gray Payne, just seven years old, from his relationship with his ex-wife Cheryl Cole.

Liam Payne was a member of boy band British pop music formed in 2010, which had great success worldwide after performing on the program “The X Factor”in the United Kingdom. In 2016, the band members decided to take a break, and they all ended up pursuing solo careers, not returning with the group to date.
