Lil Nas X reveals plans to include Brazilian funk on his highly anticipated new album

Rapper Lil Nas X said he has plans to put Brazilian funk on his new album. The singer gave an interview at the premiere of the documentary “Long Live Montero” during the International Film Festival, which took place in Toronto, Canada, last night (10). Lil Nas

“Listen, I want to do some more folk music. What else do I want to do? Brazilian funk. I could easily just release music, but I like to build moments around what I've experienced”said the rapper.

By his visit in March 2023, Lil Nas X refers to the moments he was in Brazil to perform at the Lollapalooza festival. The rapper took to the Chevrolet stage on Friday, March 24th, with a show full of hits, choreography and a lot of versatility.

His show also featured Pabllo Vittar. Lil and Pabllo danced together and excited the audience to the sound of “Batty Boy”. Remember the moment:

In addition to the partnership with Pabllo, Lil Nas X became close to singer Anitta, even going to the singer's birthday party during her stay in São Paulo.

New album

So far, there isn't much information about Lil Nas X's new album. On Twitter, the rapper stated that he is already working on new songs and that he is producing everything with more planning, as he intends to do something much bigger than “Montero”, his latest album, released in 2021.
