Lil Nas X wins Media Award gay movement ,

Lil Nas X has won the award for ‘outstanding artist’ at the annual award ceremony of the American gay rights movement GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation).

It is the second time in three years that the 23-year-old rapper gets the award.

Also in 2020, Lil Nas X received a GLAAD Award for ‘outstanding artist’ in the music industry. Sam Smith had the honor of receiving the award last year.

The rapper is the eighth artist to have won a GLAAD Award several times. Lady Gaga, Indogo Girls and Scissor Sisters, among others, preceded him.

The awards are presented annually to films, series, musicians and media that contribute to a positive image of members of the LGBTIQ+ community.
