London Fashion Week celebrates 40 years of innovation and diversity in fashion

The iconic London Fashion Week, one of the most eagerly awaited events on the fashion calendar, this year celebrates four decades of innovation, creativity and new talent. With the Spring/Summer 2025 collections set to debut on the catwalk, the British capital is reinforcing its status as a hub of experimentation and diversity in the fashion world. Taking place from 12 to 16 September 2024, this edition will feature both British and international designers.

London Fashion Week’s Spring/Summer 2025 collections promise to bring a bold and experimental aesthetic, with an emphasis on fluid silhouettes, high-tech fabrics and vibrant colors. Brands such as JW Anderson, Simone Rocha and Erdem intend to explore historical references and textile innovation. Streetwear also stands out, reflecting the influence of youth and urban culture.

Sustainable fashion will also be a central theme at London Fashion Week, with designers embracing organic fabrics, upcycling and ethical production. The event positions itself as a platform for conscious brands. Diversity will also be highlighted, with models of different body types, ethnicities and gender identities, reinforcing inclusion and representation in the industry.

Brazil on the catwalk: Brazilian brands in the spotlight

This year, Brazil will be present with some of its leading brands. Brazilian brands such as Farm, PatBO and Amapô have confirmed their presence in the event's lineup, bringing a touch of Brazilianness to the London catwalks. Brazil will also be presenting its collection for the first time, with the plus-size fashion brand Karoline Vitto, which will be presenting at British Fashion Week after having previously shown at Milan Fashion Week with the support of Dolce & Gabbana in 2023. Brazil's participation reflects the growing globalization of fashion, with emerging markets gaining space in international showcases.
