Ludmilla reveals plans to release more traps

Ludmilla, who began her career in funk as MC Beyoncé with the release of “Talk bad about me”, established herself as a pop singer after adopting her own name as her artistic identity. Unafraid to take risks in different genres, she invested in pagode, which resulted in the Numanice project. Now, the singer has revealed on Twitter her desire to release the songs she has already recorded that explore trap.

It is worth remembering that she has already participated in the genre with rapper BIN, and made an adaptation of his song to trap “Out of Your Mind” for Spotify Singles. During the Spotify Original podcast “Mano a Mano“With Mano Brown, Ludmilla revealed that she doesn't define her career with just one genre, because she likes music and, for her, that means exploring all the rhythms she feels like and what fits her personality.

Last week, on June 30, Ludmilla launched another edition of the Lud Session. After receiving guests such as Xamã and Glória Groove, this time it was Luísa Sonza's turn. The project also featured the participation of the Orquestra Maré do Amanhã, aimed at introducing children and teenagers from the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro to classical music.

The setlist featured five songs, mixing hits from both singers and a tribute to MC Kevin, who passed away in May of last year. The songs were “Tudo Porque Você Mentiu” by Ludmilla; “Penhasco” by Luísa Sonza; “De Rolê” by Ludmilla; the feat between the two singers “Café da Manhã”; and “Doutora 3” by MC Kevin.

Ludmilla invited MC Kevin's mother, Valquíria Nascimento, to come on stage during Numanice on Saturday, the 3rd, during the joint performance with Luísa Sonza of the song “Doutora 3”. Valquíria was moved while listening to her son's song and sometimes looked up at the sky during the performance.

Less than a week after the release of the latest Lud Session, speculation about the next guest has already begun. Ludmilla's wife, Brunna Gonçalves, revealed her desire to see singer Iza participate in the project. Rumors have also emerged about Sandy's participation in the project.
