Luísa Sonza has the fastest Brazilian album to reach 1 million streams on Spotify

Released last Tuesday (29), Luísa Sonza's new album, “Escândalo Íntimo”, became the fastest Brazilian album in history to reach 1 million streams on Spotify. The album, Luísa's third studio work, features the participation of several artists in the 18 songs released.

Immediate success

Before the official release of “Escândalo Íntimo”, Luísa had already released three songs: “Campos de Morango”, “Principlmente Me Sinto Arrasada”, and “Penhasco2”, the latter with an unprecedented participation by Demi Lovato. The first photos from the album and the video for “Campos de Morango” brought a wave of criticism to Luísa, who maintained her stance and supported her work.

Released last Tuesday night, the album has already reached great heights. In addition to being the fastest Brazilian album to reach 1 million streams on Spotify, “Escândalo Íntimo” surpassed “DOCE 22” as the biggest debut of Luísa Sonza's career on the platform.

Special appearances

The new album demonstrates Luísa's deepest feelings. She herself describes that the songs address her dreams, disappointments, frustrations and anxiety attacks. The work demonstrates an artistic work of representing the singer's mind, from the official photos, through the clips already released, to the deep lyrics of the songs.

On her social networks, Luísa even described the album as “love stories that went wrong, especially the one between me and myself”.

In addition to the authenticity of the album, the album also features great appearances. Among these, we can highlight the participation of American singer Demi Lovato in the track “Penhasco2”, where she sings in Portuguese, something unprecedented until then. Other tracks with special appearances are “Romance em Cena”, with Marina Sena; “Surreal”, with Baco Exu dos Blues; and “Ana Maria”, with Duda Beat.

“Escândalo intimate” features songs in Portuguese, English and Spanish, as well as covering different musical styles, such as rock, pop and even country music and samba.
